In the base of idea of the proposed
endotracheal tube there is possibility to perform terminal anesthesia of larynx-pharynx
mucosa by local anesthetics through catheter and the system of ring ducts which are constructive elements
of endotracheal tube.
The invention is explained with drawings, where in
Fig.1 general view of antireflex endotracheal
tube is shown, and in Fig.2 - detached element I on Fig.1
Endotracheal
tube (1) has a cuff on its caudal end
(2), catheter (3) to make the cuff to be swollen (2), small balloon (4) to control and optimize pressure in cuff (2), catheter (5)
to supply local anesthetics,
ring duct (6), connected to
outer surface of the antireflex endotracheal
tube (1) by means of holes (7) for local
anesthetic supply in larynx-pharynx area,
ring duct (8), connected
to outer surface of antireflex endotracheal tube (1) by means of holes (9) for local
anesthetic supply in area of contact between cuff (2) and larynx
mucus and also for supply to below portions of respiratory tract, connector to link antireflex endotracheal
tube (1) with apparatus for controlled.
lung ventilation. The catheter (5)
for local anesthetic supply has one of its end to be consecutively
linked with ring ducts (6) and (8).
By means of the antireflex endotracheal
tube which is proposed here
you can avoid negative reflex reactions, arising during intubation of trachea.
